An unfaithful married woman who was recently dumped by her husband for 11 years is crying outrage as she accuses her husband of setting her a honey trap.
Brenda Muzhinye’s marriage fell apart after her husband learned of her adulterous schemes. The Mt Pleasant seamstress had a whirlwind romance with a married man who was only identified as Farai.
During the 45 days of the affair, Brenda reportedly moved away from her husband Willmote Zembe. After noting his aloof demeanor, constant apologies, and unexplained absences, Zembe began his own investigations.
He discovered that his wife was now using her sewing factory as a love nest to pair up with her lover. Zembe told the local tabloid H-Metro,
“I never thought my wife would betray the trust I placed in her when I suggested moving her factory from her home to a better location for her business.
“Instead of marketing her dresses, she decided to display her underwear and give sex lessons with Farai.
“… I suspected from his movements, his apologies and his denial of my marital rights that someone was plunging his staff into my well.
Zembe then confronted his wife and she broke down and admitted the affair. However, Brenda claimed it had only been a one-night stand.
“I found out that I had no peace in me for cheating on my husband for 45 days the days I saw Farai behind his back.
“The guilt consciousness forced me to confess to my husband after he asked me why I denied him his marital rights most of the time.
“I told my husband that I had a one night stand with Farai and it didn’t go well with him.
After learning of the alleged one-night stand, Zembe chased Brenda away. She only managed to return home after relatives interceded on her behalf.
“By accepting my forgiveness, my husband gave me a condition that I had to disclose the name and contact details of the man I had slept with.
“After doing that, he kicked me out again.

Brenda said she felt betrayed by Farai, who confirmed the affair to her husband and gave him every conversation the two had on WhatsApp. She accused Farai of being a state agent used by her husband to trick her into honey.
“My life was ruined and I don’t know why Farai decided to put salt on my wound by giving my messages of love with him to my husband.
“I want to believe that Farai is a member of security agencies, was used by my husband to propose and expose me.”
Ironically, her lover who is only identified as Farai, told H-Metro that he has no plans to continue seeing her as he does not date unfaithful married women. He claimed that Brenda lied to him about his marital status.
“I regret the time I spent with Muzhinye not knowing she was married and I can’t see myself continuing the affair,” Farai said.
“She lied to me saying that she had separated from Zembe and I felt guilty the day I met the husband about how he had sweated to make Muzhinye attractive.”
