BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – Temperatures this afternoon will slowly rise to lows in the mid-60s, making it another balmy day for this month. Overcast skies will linger, but we may see light rain / showers as this evening approaches.
A western frontal border will bring rain and keep it with us this week as it docks just above the region. You will definitely need to keep rain gear with you! We will follow isolated showers until Monday as well as blustery winds, which will keep us mild throughout the afternoon. Showers will become more widespread through Tuesday. Windy winds are still expected as well as highs in the 70’s. A few thunderstorms are possible Tuesday evening, but we will see them more Wednesday. We don’t expect a serious weather threat, but we will keep you posted as new data arrives. A cooling trend sets in beyond mid-week as highs drop in the mid-1950s ahead of New Years Eve. We might also see a few isolated showers through Friday. It also looks like we’ll start 2022 on a wet note, but we’ll see more seasonal temperatures in the New Year!
