EastEnders spoilers follow.
In recent weeks, the blossoming friendship of Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) has completely broken off after Honey rejected Suki’s drunken kiss.
Although the rejection was done with gentleness and understanding, Suki immediately went on the defensive and does whatever she can to make life difficult for her old friend.
As the annoyance turns to bullying at work, Honey decides she’s had enough and opens up to her boyfriend Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) about the kiss, who then goes on to confront Suki’s son Kheerat (Jaz Deol). As he then goes to talk to his mother about what is really going on, she is both mortified and furious with Honey for revealing the truth.

Things heat up quickly and Suki suddenly slaps Honey, something star Emma Barton reveals she finds both surprising and exhilarating.
âHoney has been at Walford for 16 years and has never been slapped before,â Barton said Interior soap. “Having another woman slap you in soap is pretty cool – it’s a box checked in terms of iconic moments.”
Noting that Honey “wouldn’t tolerate this if it happened to her children,” Barton explains that she has no choice but to force her hand and blackmail Suki on what she knows about Jags Panesar’s death. (Amar Adatia).
“I think the situation will reverse and Suki will beg Honey for forgiveness!” exclaimed Barton. âShe’s like a lion – she’ll take so much pull on the mane, but if you stand on her tail she’ll roar. It takes a long time to surface, but when it does, it’s impressive. So people know she means Business. “

Barton also admitted that she believed some of Suki’s features would have rubbed off on Honey, giving her the strength to stand up for herself.
“I think [Suki] should [be worried]. Maybe Suki’s words brought out something in Honey; she’s taught him to handle things, so maybe some of Suki’s strength has rubbed off. Honey saw the way Suki handles things, and now she’s giving it to her with both barrels! “
Will Honey and Suki ever be able to forgive each other, or is it really the end of their friendship?
