Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson appeared to be in high spirits in her latest social media update featuring older sister Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon-Efird and niece Ella Grace.
The 15-year-old reality TV star took to Instagram to share on Friday an adorable shot that she took with her 21-year-old sister and her 3-year-old daughter. Alana could be seen smiling between mother and daughter, who are also smiling at the camera.
“My girls 4 life,” captioned Honey Boo Boo before tagging Pumpkin, who is currently her de facto guardian, and her niece, who has her own Instagram account run by her mother Lauryn and father Josh Efird, 24. .
In the photo, the three appear to be on a boat, with Ella wearing a blue life jacket.

Alana’s Instagram update comes about three weeks after her older sister Anna Cardwell, 26, slammed those who criticized the young TV star’s penchant for makeup, false eyelashes and false nails .
In one exclusive interview with The Sun, Mama June’s elusive and estranged daughter said her younger sister was just a normal teenager.
“Alana is a teenage girl who is growing up and basically trying to find herself. She experiences what every teenager goes through, ”said Anna.
“You don’t expect anything different from teenagers. They all want the same thing; they want to grow, ”she added.
In May, Alana also addressed her detractors by uploading a makeup-free selfie. In the blink of an eye, the former “Toddlers & Tiaras” star was seen face down and sticking her tongue out.
