Kevin Scott Kunschik, 36, of Taylor, died on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at his home.

Kevin was born on May 31, 1985 in Austin. He graduated from Connally High School in Pflugerville.

Kevin has worked on restoring classic cars and tinkered with all kinds of engines, including automobiles, motorcycles, and farm implements. Over the past few years he has been a great help on the family farm taking care of the tough jobs. He adored his niece and nephew, going out of his way to make sure they had donuts and cookies when they visited. He enjoyed bow hunting and tank fishing on the farm. Kevin had a passion for music of all kinds and the creative amplification of that music. He loved to learn beekeeping and above all he loved his dogs, Famous and later Amos. KEVIN HAS LIVED HIS LIFE!

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Robert and Margaret Kunschik of Austin; Herman and Meta Riedesel of Yorktown; and his uncle Ronald James (Jimmy) Kunschik from Spring.

Kevin is survived by his parents Jerry Wayne Kunschik and Nancy Lou Riedesel Kunschik of Taylor (formerly Austin); sister, Keri Ann Kunschik Clark; brother-in-law, James Andrew Clark; and niece and nephew Kinley Clark and Jacob Clark of Hutto. Also survived by Uncle Dennis Riedesel (Susan) from Boerne, Uncle Charles Riedesel (Bonnie) from Yorktown and Aunt Charlene Schneider (Alvin) from Runge. He has many cousins ​​and has enjoyed many holiday celebrations with the extended family.

Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association. Kevin developed type I diabetes at the age of 13 and suffered complications in his later years.
