Pokemon Legends Arceus The Taste of Honey – combee catch

The taste of honey is another of the side quests available in Pokemon Legends Arceus, available right after defeating the Pokemon lord Arcanine in the Coastlands. This quest is built around a single Pokemon, combeewhich isn’t unusual – but it’s unique in what it asks you to do.

This quest doesn’t just allow you to catch one of the target Pokemon, nor does you complete Combee’s Pokedex entry – common themes among requests in Pokemon Legends Arceus. Instead, you have to catch a bunch of them – from different places. We explain where to grab them – and another interesting wrinkle – below.

The taste of honey – catching Combee in Pokemon Legends Arceus

This quest is given to Almous, a member of the Galaxy Agriculture Corps, who thinks about food, specifically honey produced by Combee, the bee-type Pokémon that is basically made up of a few large honeycombs. To start the quest, you need to go talk to Almous, so just follow the waypoint and talk to him at his house in Jubilife Village for more information.

Almous wants to know if Combee honey tastes different depending on where it comes from. So your task is to catch him and bring Combee back from different areas of Hisui region. It’s a little easier said than done.

Here’s where to catch the Combee for The Taste of Honey:

• In the Obsidian Fields, go to Grueling grove region. Combee spawns in the open here, during the day.
• In the Cobalt Coastlands, head to the Aipom Hill region. Again, you will find Combee breeding in the open during the day.
• Finally, head to the Obsidian Fields. Once you have the ability to surf and cross water, or fly, cross water to Ramanas Island – an area that you could not access when you first arrived in this area. Now here’s the catch: Combee spawns on this island, but only by shaking trees. Hit the tree with your Pokemon when you shake it to knock it down, and if you’re lucky, a Combee will spawn. Catch this.

Once you have all three Combee, return to Almous and show them to him. He’ll peek, taste, and the quest will be complete.

For completing The Taste of Honey, you’ll receive a reward of 3x King’s Leaf, a useful ingredient for crafting recipes, and appropriately 3x Dazzling Honey, a great lure for catching Pokemon.
